The Challenger Learning Center is an exciting, hands-on simulated space science environment where students and educators work in teams to solve real-life math, science, and technology problems during a space flight simulation. As a not-for-profit educational organization partnering with museums, science centers, schools, universities and communities across North America, The Challenger Center for Space Science Education continues to explore new teaching techniques, learning environments and instructional programs. The result has been acclaimed programs that change how teachers teach and students learn.

Challenger Center to Do Live Link with the International Space Station

Challenger Learning Center Celebrates Earth Day!
The Challenger Learning Center celebrated Earth Day on April 22-25, 2008 with Camden Middle School (SEAGULL gifted and talented program).  Earth Day is celebrated to remind us of how to use resources from our planet and to promote awareness of Earth issues.  Students participated in lectures and hands-on activities. The NASA 2007 Lewis’ Educational and Research Collaborative Internship Program The Lewis’ Educational and Research Collaborative Internship Program is now taking applications for 2007. Tuskegee Airmen Exhibit
The “Tuskegee Airmen” refers to everyone involved in the “Tuskegee Experiment,” which was the Army Air Corp’s program to train African Americans to fly combat aircraft. This program included pilots, navigators, mechanics, instructors, and support staff. More>>
